Digital Marketing is a booming sector that has immense opportunity for all sorts of businesses. This sector has opened a door for all age group people irrespective of their age, qualification and experiences. Taking this into consideration I had to grab this opportunity to learn new skills in the field of advertising. This knowledge will not only help me to work as a freelancer but also give me a chance to work in a reputed agency.
Akshay Kanwar is a student of ProiDeators pursuing Advance digital marketing course in Digital Marketing. He is here with us to share his experiences with us. Let’s read his journey in his own words:
Hello Akshay, Glad to connect with you! Before heading further we would like to know a bit about you?
Myself Akshay Kanwar and I am working professionally. Currently staying in Navi Mumbai location and working as data operative in one of the firms. I have heard a lot about digital marketing and am quite fascinated to start my journey in this build my future career. Thus I have joined ProiDeators Institute to learn Advance Digital Marketing Course.
What are your qualifications and why did you join the digital marketing course?
I have done BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) and PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management). After completing my graduation I started working as a data operator in one of the firms. Working in this domain I have realized that there is no growth in this sector as a career. Therefore I started learning a digital marketing course to enhance my skills and boost my career in the advertising field.
What are your goals after completing the digital marketing course?
My goal is to start with freelancing work. I have learned many things in Proideators as a learner. This can be my second source of income and gradually will turn this into a full time job. I have many networks and am planning to build my portfolio right from scratch. I can start working as a freelancer. There are many companies that outsource their marketing projects.
Tell us the best experience you had with Proideators as a learner?
As a learner I have explored social media marketing, email marketing, website development, paid ads campaigns. I am enjoying every session in the classroom.
How did you differentiate Proideators from others?
ProiDeators institute has experienced faculty with 10+ years of experience in this domain and they create a good learning environment in the classroom.
One Piece of advice you would like to share with other working professionals?
I am working as a data operator and I knew that data entry won’t help me to grow my career ahead. But I am contributing something to my family and supporting them financially. At the same time I have learned new skills to shift my domain from data entry to digital marketers. I attend my sessions and whenever I get time I utilize my skills to learn new things. I would suggest people who are struggling in their field can upgrade their skills and can shift from one domain to another with pride. But you need to take a step.
